We’re thrilled to introduce our two stellar summer students in our lab!

🔬 Allison Dew ’28 — Materials Science & Engineering Major + Physics minor
Allison joined us last winter and quickly became fascinated by biomolecular condensates. This summer, she’ll investigate how enzymes behave inside these protein droplets.

🧪 Jay Fu ’26 — Materials Science & Engineering Major
Jay is going to explore the polymer-induced elastic microphase separation (PI-EMPS) this summer. How swelling process alters the resulting morphologies remain a mystery. Ask him more about it as summer kicks in.
