Takumi, a postdoc in our team, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Schmidt Science Fellowship by Schmidt Futures in partnership with the Rhodes Trust. The fellowship aims to foster innovative interdisciplinary science by encouraging recipients to pivot into new fields from their PhD specializations. This award will provide Takumi with invaluable support for one or two years, enabling him to further his research on active droplets right here in our lab.
